The joke at the beginning about being old was actually really good, I hate this audience for not laughing lol.

01:48 what are the 2 beliefs? Tell us.
man of the future!
Ilya was the core engineer of innovation at open AI and always will be even without open AI .... 🔥🔥🔥
Love this guy
Vinod's insights are brilliant! Great for young techies and billionaires!
Save time . Listen multiple times .
Summary: Khosla optimizes the future by funding what often seems impossible. Experts understand the past, not the future. Ignore them. Key points : -Almost all expertise will be available for free online. -A billion biped robots will be doing more labor than all the farm, assembly line, and restaurant workers do today. -Personalized medicine will be possible, with treatments tailored to each individual's needs. -New sources of food and fertilizer will be developed. -Self-driving cars in a closed transit system will replace most vehicles in most cities, which could significantly reduce traffic congestion. -Sustainable aviation can be fully fueled from things municipal waste. Khosla acknowledges that some things may take longer to develop than initially thought but believes they are all achievable. He encourages people to be optimistic and to focus on making a positive impact on the world.

a beautiful vision and a never say die attitude. I wish most VCs had this mindset rather than a pure ROI approach
Why isn't VCs funding me when i am solving a bigger and basic problem of ultra affordable food, clothes and housing. All VCs are biased of prestigious university degree and work ex in Coglimorate corporation or MNCs. They just want to fund those reaching mount Everest first but not those who reached without even oxygen and climbing gears.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Vinod's optimism is commendable. That's the kind of partner you want when you are going after moonshots.
He always looks so constipated
Pause. Read slide. Play. Pause. Read slide. Play. I’m surprised Vinod used this power point format. It is so outdated. Sorry Vinod.

After GPT 4o, Binge watching all of Sam Altman's interviews 😅
very inspiring and lots of learning in short time. "Follow inner compass" is one of the top wisdoms passed on by the legendary entrepreneur
I thought Bitcoin was dead?
It was never alive in the first place. It’s a non living digital asset 😎
People are saying we can't do $100k this cycle. I look at this comment section and realize how utterly stupid they are. The year is 2024, we're at a marketcap of 1.2T with gold sitting at 15.6T. The bond market is still very much alive and well, sitting above $135T. We're still early. I'll check back in once my stubborn parents finally ask me how to acquire some.
"Bitcoin is to Paypal as Linux is to Windows." - Balaji
Matt....you talk nonsense , you are typical negative evil, you don't want anybody to live at all, evil .
You can't point to everything we're clearly not in control of and definitively conclude that everything is luck.
How can you claim determinism because you see no satisfactory evidence of the contrary? Any claim of determinism or any of its variations should always be followed with proof of such a claim.
Heard from PayPal mafia. People talk about him on X.
If you want to trade your Bitcoin please say hi.
Wishing Ilya & Lex will sit together soon

8 Years later .. Interview more valuable then ever.
If we can control an intelligence that is better than us. Then can that intelligence be really better than us?
Nextdoor is insane liberal ran... had my account disconnected for posting an invitation to a roadside bbq and sign hold for Trump. It's an absolute joke
Stupid people. AGI will destroy humanity without mercy and these guys did PHD and post doc for that purpose😂😂😂😂😂😂
17:27 the main reasons people dont achive the outcome are fear which is future prediction of bad outcomes. And fear makes us think crazy so we just have to face it and notice that it is just a bunch of fluff.. The second reason is rejection which can be solved by persistenting until the disired outcome is achieved
14:39 repeat back to you the action that they committed
10:21 pair up and tell them the action you will do then tell them when you did it
8:51 if it's connected with a person or finding a person and walking up to them
7:35 what is the single output that would make you to say I crushed this?
4:20 Manage people at scale with doing this Identify the priority Write the number one down Do the actions for it Hold them accountable What are the problems you encountered as you were trying to get to the priority How can rhe manage do better?
@8:10 man love the disparate distillation in these definitions. beautifully succinct
Vinod Khosla is a creepy Bond villain
